The name sucks...
While he seems to have the balls the same can not be said about his brains.
Now, the entire Bollywood will be up in his arms saying becos he is a celebrity he is being targetted and we must not brand him as a rapist without a fair trial, blah blah blah.
My sympathies are entirely with his wife and kid, who must be ashamed to have a blacksheep in the family, though his wife seem to be putting up a bravefront for the cameras.
Men like them need to be punished, no matter who they are so that it acts as a deterrent for future generations.
What a shame it must be for this guy whose kid instead of looking up to him, will have to go through the horror of having to put up with it.
And his wife. May God give her the courage of walking out on him. It is simply not worth it I guess.

Trouble in the Brew....
Yeah, I did not expect myself to be back so fast. Its well past midnight and I was sitting and watching the T20 match between Pak Vs NZ and also surfing alternatively.
There I read a piece about the prevailing infighting among the BJP leaders. Though their claims that it is a party with a difference was punctured a long time ago, I did not expect the top rung leaders of the party to come out in the open just as it is happening now what with Sudheendra Kulkarni's post in Tehelka, Jaswant Singh circulating an open letter to the media and now Yashwanth Sinha resigning. I have not even mentioned about the old warhorses like MM Joshi angling for the LoO in LS, before LKA was advised to stay in the post.
While it is true success has many fathers and failure is an orphan, do the BJP members need to wash their dirty linen in full public glare. After all, success and failure in elections do not make or finish a political party. I think it is a good time for the party to do some serious introspection rather than indulge in the blamegame.
I think instead of infighting, the party can do well to take serious steps to strengthen the organisation in southern states, WB, etc which together account for more than 140 seats in the 540 plus members LS, which would make it a serious player towards its bid for power in the next LS, come 2014.
As an keen follower of political developments in the country for the last few years, I have a ringside view of things and will post some interesting observations about what went wrong for the BJP in the just concluded National elections and what it could perhaps do to emerge as a serious alternative to the dynastic-laden Congress.
But the need of the hour is for the BJP to follow the Kamraj plan of collective responsibility and think ahead as a group and fight the Congress rather than fighting themselves. Will the BJP listen?
Tailpiece: I did not get to vote in this election, as my name was not on the voters list but I am sure you all would have guessed by now where my political loyalties lie.

The Beginning
I have always been fascinated by the blogworld. Though I usually read blogs by political commentators, sport personalities and the bollywood gliteratti, the thought of having my own blog never crossed by mind, till ofcourse my wife prodded me into having one of myself.
It set me thinking and here now I am. Oflate, I have realised if I have an opinion on political & , social issues, sports, et al, why not put it in some place, for posterity. So when I am old (which I am already any way), I can turn the pages back and read what I had to say. My posts may not leave footprint in sands of time but atleast it would have helped me in structuring my thoughts into words.
I intend writing about no particular thing but most of it would be sport related I guess, from Dhoni's captaincy to Ronaldo's transfer to Real Madrid. Ofcourse, with a generous helping of politics thrown in good measure.
I am an illiterate to the blogworld and I thank my wife in no small measure without whose support this blog would have never happened (so much so it was she who helped me with opening this blog itself).
Apart from my wife, I am hopelessly in love with an other woman, about whom I may or may not write in this blog. I thank God & my wife (not necessarily in that order) for that little piece of sun which shines on me everyday.
All good things must come to an end and hence I end this piece. Hopefully more will follow.
